When the countrywide lockdown began on 25th march 2020, Shiv Kumari’s role as a community health worker changed. Life came to a halt in Delhi and WV India’s staffs were barred from visiting the communities we serve. This was when Shiv Kumari took it upon herself to go beyond the call of her duty. As a government appointed community health caregiver, she has the license to visit and sensitize the community even during lock down. 

Shiv Kumari has been on the forefront. She has been a beacon of light for them in this dark times.
