"MISUSED OBJECTS"
In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we proudly present our campaign: "Misused Objects." This powerful initiative has been brought to life thanks to the unwavering dedication and support of countless individuals who wholeheartedly believe in its mission. As both a father and a responsible adult, I firmly believe that it is our duty to safeguard our children—the very embodiment of our future.
In "Misused Objects," we delve into the poignant perspective of children and shed light on the objects that tragically become instruments of abuse in their lives. We confront the harsh reality that everyday items such as belts, shoes, rollers, and even cigarettes can be transformed into weapons of violence. Astonishingly, statistics reveal that a staggering one in three reported child abuse cases in the U.S. involves the cruel transformation of ordinary objects into tools of harm.
Through this campaign, we aim to raise awareness and champion the vital work of Amigos for Kids—a relentless force in the fight against child abuse. Together, we strive to ensure that these objects reclaim their rightful place as innocuous, everyday items, devoid of any association with violence or harm.
Thanks to Tony Waissmman, Melissa Smock, Republica Havas, and the rest of the remarkable team who wholeheartedly embraced this project. Their unwavering belief in the cause has propelled us forward, allowing us to bring this meaningful concept to life.
Join us in this crucial mission to protect and nurture our children. Together, we can create a future where every child feels safe, cherished, and free from the haunting shadow of abuse.
