Aisthesis - The embodiment of emotion
Why does the experience of particular color nuances generate specific ways of thinking and emotions? Which essential thoughts make up the foundation of those experiences? Emphasis in on the intricacies of soft, delicate, and cloudy color nuances. A search for awareness of subjective inspiration. The many nuances of emotional complexity are revealed in a quest fore intimacy between our own minds and bodies. The intimate, internal experience of our own thinking. Using color, I challenge the causality of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in my work. What drives our perceptions? Aisthesis is a smaller part of a bigger project in which I explore the significance of emotions and thoughts.
