The G Iconic Night is a prestigious award ceremony in the business community that is held for the second time in Malaysia. The event features 2 major awards, namely the G Forty Top 40, which recognises influential entrepreneurs under the age of 40, and the Industrial Achievement Award, which is presented to 30 winners. While designing the ceremony, we noticed that most award ceremonies in Malaysia are ordinary and lack uniqueness in trophy presentation and event execution. We aimed to provide a distinct experience of the event that would showcase the one-of-a-kind trophy design. The challenge in designing an award ceremony is to create a memorable experience, regardless of the packaging or trophy used. Hence, we redefined the entire execution of the ceremony including the use of only premium materials for packaging and the use of pure alloy and crystal for the trophy. Much planning was placed into the event aesthetics to enhance the overall experience. We feel grateful for the accolades received from the business circles. The most significant appreciation is that our event execution has been dubbed the "Oscars" of the Malaysian business world.
