It happened to be my 10th trip in Istanbul and I loved it!. This time I went there for a New Year's vacation. It is a city where you always want to come back. No matter what kind of weather it is or what time of the year, Istanbul is a great city to visit. I totally love its vibe, the mixture of culture thought the centuries. This is the first time I shot Istanbul on Fujifilm X100V.
Istanbul, a city that straddles two continents, is a vibrant metropolis, steeped in history and culture, provided a wealth of inspiration as I set out to capture its essence through my lens. The Fujifilm X100V's compact size and unassuming appearance allowed me to blend into the bustling streets and markets, enabling me to take candid shots of the vibrant, local life.
The charming facades and friendly residents offered endless opportunities for intimate, storytelling images. The soul of Istanbul truly came alive as I ventured along the Bosphorus, capturing the city's iconic skyline, which included the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
One of the highlights of my adventure was taking a ferry trip to the Moda district, an area known for its charming streets, stylish boutiques, and trendy cafes. As I disembarked and wandered through the neighborhood, I was struck by the warmth of the people and the beauty of the streetscapes.
