Final composition of a Font  Poster design mock up
In this project, I was contacted to promote a font by creating a printed poster to send out to professional designers. The poster will have to show the versatility and possibility of an assigned font which will also contain all of the information needed for the designer to make a purchasing decision. Thus, the poster has to have function to catch someone's eye, inform, and then encourage them to purchase the font. As with all project has a purpose, the purpose of this was to allow me to use typography to design a poster to sell a font to a designer, giving me the opportunity to work with typographic hierarchy in a poster format. We were to provide brief history/information about the font, font designers name, samples of all weights of the font available, pricing and contact information and using a minimum of three colors all in a size of 16 x 20 poster. It was great working on this project as it added more experience skills to what I already have and exploring other tool working on it.
A Final composition of the font poster.
It has always been and it will always start with sketches where ideas are then put on paper. Sketches are great to start any design project.
It always start with sketches which gives it a greater look.
Next after sketching will be to digitalize most of my sketches to have a better compo.
Digitalization added more impressions and ideas started generating.
Three refinement done on different compos for a better achievement.
Refinements and color variations brought about the finest.
Any principles of design when followed gives great and better results at the end. Love working on this project and finishing up. It added a great skill to the existing one I have.
