RCA 3D Products Video | CES 2023

PROJECT TASK
The task was to show the RCA product line into one presentation video for CES 2023 in Las Vegas at January. The main products for video are Solid State Batteries and Rechargeable Storage Batteries using these batteries.
It's necessary to show the technology of the Solid State Battery (with Graphene) and show in detail the products where these batteries are used.
After analyzing the site and materials from the client, I identified 5 main parts.
The origin of the solid state battery and 4 products that use these batteries.
Since the video presentation was planned to demonstrate CES on the LED screen, I decided to use contrasting scenes with each other. Alternate dark and light scenes to better capture the viewer's attention.
INSPIRATION
At the discussion stage, I was inspired by the 1988 Netflix series and the style of the CONTROL game.
I decided to make the video unique among product videos by adding cinematic and fantasy atmospheres.

Test development of the environment crystal as the main element of graphene.
After the rendering demo, I thought that the model and textures are very difficult to render.

STORYBOARD
To create the storyboard, I used an edit sheet and Procreate for sketching and collaging.
Having collected an information and atmospheric references, I started to create scenes.

SCENE CREATION
Animatic & Final
SOLID STATE
The very first part was Solid State. About the origin. In it, I wanted to create a path from the source
(graphene) to the birth of the battery.
In this part you can see: the source, the graphene molecules, the creation of the form, the finished battery.

POWERTOTE
PowerTote needed to show an assembly of parts. In this scene, I came up with the idea of using an energy beam in some scenes. Since the PowerTote is used outdoors or camping, I chose a lake-like environment.
POWERMOTION
Power Motion are batteries for vehicles. In this part, I decided to show how the created battery is assembled into a group and forms the basis for a battery. Also, with the help of beam energy, I showed that such Batteries feed light and heavy vehicles.
APOLLO
Apollo - added scene during the project. Additional product for phone charging.
Inside the case is an AX series battery.

POWERMOTION
PowerWall is also an added scene. It had the task of showing a battery wall in a certain garage. Since the theme of the video is futuristic and there is a queue in the storyboard of the light scene, I made the environment inspired by the Tron Legacy film. Using white light, neon and blurred glass.
INTRODUCTION
In the introduction, RCA wanted to show a road map of its history and key products. Having studied their history, I made the concept of entry in the form of Journey to another planet. Starting from the first technologies of radio and television to satellites and LED screens. So taking the viewer into the future of RCA technology and products and finally to the planet with new technologies.
I made a screen distortion effect and noise to add the feeling of watching an old TV screen.
MUSIC
Since I specialize in technology product videos, I tend to use the Dark Cyberpunk music genre more often. And part of the musical accompaniment was looking for such a mood. In my opinion, such music is quite rhythmic and technological in terms of the sound of the instruments. I also use ambient works to create contrast in the form of calm scenes.

CES 2023
RCA has invested more than $1M into this booth. And I wanted to put my creativity into this project to the high level. The video was shown on one of RCA's LED screens. Under the screen is a line of products that I talked about in the video.
