Skully Bounce - Mobile game

Skully Bounce is a personal project for a mobile game. My goal was to focus completely on giving a spooky but inviting anf funny atmosphere.
The gameplay elements were all thought as part of the visual narrative: for each bounce, the skull loses a chunk of its aura, as shown on the right side of the screen. Bouncing on pools replenish that aura. The goal is to reach the bottom pool, and it's shown on the left side of the screen. 
Below are some screens showing a bit of the game's UI design and planned features.
The character designs, as simple as they can be, are also very fast to make (10-15 minutes each) and are presented as unlockables.
