Studio Project: Packaging Design

*This Project explores the examination of current Indian design practices involving innovation and aesthetics in design, through research, analyses, and synthesis of core principles of Indian design sensibilities within a wide range of package design and communication scenarios.*

The Brief was to develop an innovative and aesthetic package design for a pantry product which communicates the mood, spirit and personality of the item.

The idea was to convey the charm and personality of a British Raj era product by drawing inspiration from Indian art forms as well as the authenticity, sumptuous design, and typographic construction of premium liquor brands that can be seen in old whisky lounges and pubs.
