Originally, this product was created for designers on Creative Market, as a tool to help them create mandala logos and illustrations quickly. However, it took off and it was used by many small business owners for their branding.

All mandala elements were drawn by hand at first. I then scanned and traced them in Illustrator, turned them into brushes and vector elements and exported them as a package. After that, I sourced and combined commercially free fonts into 30 font pairings and created 30 premade logos using the mandala elements and the font pairs. Finally, all designs were adapted for Photoshop and Canva users.

I wanted the presentation to be quite unique so I photographed objects, like candles and crystals, cropped them and then combined them with scene creators by others.

Takeaways

Overall this logo creator did very well — it sold well and got positive feedback. It was the first product I used content marketing campaigns for and it paid off — this was one of the most popular kits in my Creative Market shop and I continue to see products made with it. I got requests for other types of logo creators, so I created a Gemstone Logo Creator and several smaller botanical logo packages.
