TNC Brasil - Mantiqueira

TNC - Mantiqueira annual Report

The Mantiqueira Annual Report was the third video created for The Nature Conservancy (TNC). It explores the conservation challenges of one of the areas of the Atlantic Forest, rich in species diversity, where most of the Brazilian population is concentrated.

In this project, TNC's work in Serra da Mantiqueira was portrayed, with a focus on leveraging forest restoration based on the work of local organizations and city halls to implement governance and public policies.

Based on the infographic, the video sought to portray species diversity and forest valuation as the main focus of the information to be portrayed during the project. Forest groups and the famous mountain ranges present in Serra da Mantiqueira were illustrated.

Characters were designed to portray local agents and the local population. The character design of the project was the step responsible for inserting the characteristics of these individuals into the context they are inserted in, in one of the most populated areas of Brazil.

Among the animals selected to represent the local species of Serra da Mantiqueira, 2 species of birds were represented, the Pavó and the Araponga and a local aquatic, the Trout.
