Title:“UnitedStakofAmerica”
Challenge: My challenge here was to create a unique graphic for a hoodie. StackProfitEntertainment is a music label in Tulsa,Ok. I worked with them in the processes of coming up with cover art and graphics. “UnitedStakofAmerica” is an artwork I made on paper with colored pencil. For this challenge I transformed the artwork in photoshop to be appropriate for T-shirt and hoodie printing.

Title: “When We Trial” Instagram mockup
Challenge: My challenge was to design an Instagram post for a nonprofit of my choice. The design had to specifically include the nonprofits mission.
Who: When We Trial is a nonprofit organization who’s mission is to advance technologies to eradicate breast cancer in black women.

Title: ShiftSpace
Challenge: ShiftSpace is an art gallery in Wichita, KS lead by Wichita State University students. My challenge was to recreate the popular logo. My rendition shows a more technical approach of the logo. I referenced keyboard elements as well as the famous Shocker Wheat design.

Title: The End of All Life on Earth?
Challenge: The NY Times needs a cover illustration for their March issue. In ancient history a meteorite struck the Somali, African desert. True story. As time passed locals would use it to sharpen their tools. In 2020 the rock was stumbled upon by American scientists who then then finessed it from their land. The American scientists then discovered that there were 2 unknown elements found within the rock. As of today, the rock is no where to be found. This is my imaginary creation of what the rock may have looked like before making contact with the Earth.

Challenge: Create a creative tactile type with an underlying message. We all know to recycle, however, as students we go through a lot of paper and materials we put in the garbage. Recycle! is my reminder to students to recycle.
