I honestly can’t get enough of fresh nuts! 

So “creamy” and naturally “juicy” without soaking… 🤤 

I like to add some interesting facts to my shared photos of produce or local foods. So here it goes - a little bit of that👇

The brownish skin, enveloping the nut is naturally bitter because of tannins - natural antioxidants.
Tannin has antimicrobial, anticancirogenic and antimutagenic properties. It promotes rapid healing and the formation of new tissues on wounds and inflamed mucosa!

Walnuts also improve sleep due to a compound called melatonin found in them and strengthen hair + nails due to containing biotin.
