In this final project, I was asked to design a series of artifacts for the 2023 Sundance film festival. This includes a logo, poster, festival badges, digital banner, print advertisement and a program guide. 

The concept of my designs was based off my research findings. Sundance welcomes people from all across the world to come view films from many talented filmmakers. I designed a globe to symbolize the impact this festival has on the world. I've incorporated this design in each artifact to bring it all together as a series. As you can see, I've used this illustration in many different forms to also add uniqueness and variety to my display.

For my type, I used Britannic Bold and altered a few of the letters to add a unique touch. I've continued that typeface throughout each design.

I based my color palette off warm colors (including a few cool colors with warmer hues). Since Park City is covered in snow in January during the festival, these colors will stand out and catch your eye in the environment. I wanted to give a variety of colors to my palette to transition between the colors from each artifact design I have.
