For my beloved and favorite painter: Pierre Auguste Renoir (1841-1919)
Renoir's paintings create a warm feeling of tenderness and tranquility, casting a magic able to keep us captivated by every stroke of his paintings.
He was an expert in capturing the essence and emotions of each of his characters, giving them personality and harmony in his works.
This project consisted of bringing back to life a very touching and emotional painting of the artist. Caring to express the same gesture of the model, generate the same intensity and catch the action that the model played in that very precise moment, with the same subtlety and simplicity.
To accomplish this project, mixed media: photomanipulation and traditional drawing were used.
