Blue Coral Snake

Blue Coral Snake
This was my entry to the #blueanimalchallenge of Adobelive Germany and Adrian Bauer.

The Blue Coral Snake is a small, but very venomous snake living in the tropical forest floor in Southeast Asia.

1| I had to backtrack a couple of times because it kept getting too realistic. But that would not have matched the skin pattern and the graphic look.
2| The skin pattern is made with Adobe Illustrator.
3| For the background I used the structure of I bag I recently bought. It's made by disabled people in Myanmar (www.pannnannein.com). The Blue Coral Snake is just one of a plenty of snake species there.
4|  I used traditional looking Burmese ornaments by drawing into layer with a clipping mask of a gold leaf photo. (I added a jpg file.)

| thank you.
