Our lady scientists are sharp, overflowing with creativity and unapologetically feminine. I have chosen to depict a snapshot from the lab – where chemists play with and explore the very fabric of reality. Their work is a kaleidoscope of colours, shapes and textures that is every bit as playful as it is important. In this illustration I hope to express the bubbly-frothy fun that is chemistry, helmed by those with a keen, inquisitive mind.
