Hello! We are proud to present our first typeface. It's still a work in progress but this beta version is fully functional. It includes some ligatures and alternates, and Latin languages coverage.
Mangoré is a high-contrast freestyle typeface inspired by some basic strokes from different calligraphy styles mixed with a lot of improvisation. Initial sketches were made with a 2.4mm flat tip pen and then vectorized to keep the handmade feeling.
We think the result is very expressive and we can see it used in book and music covers, movie and concert posters, logotypes and even as a supporting font for titles in editorial and website design.
