Problem Statement:
Insatiable demand and rising price-conscious consumers create a thriving food market that
Shopee could dominate. However, few utilise the Near Me feature as it is hidden within ShopeePay. Most users barely know about the existence of Near Me.

On many occasions, awareness of Near Me sparks from stumbling upon a physical sign pasted to a wall — incongruent with Near Me’s digital nature, and highly ineffective. Near Me has a cluttered UI. No actual locations shown, only addresses and distance away. Such resistance disincentivizes users. Coupled with a miniscule user base, it severely undercuts Shopee's profit margins, significantly wasting partnerships with potential merchants in Singapore’s bustling food scene. With an improved Near Me, Shopee will be able to take its place as the market leader.
