ChiChiLand was invited to design and animate one of the episodes of GitHub’s “Animated Hubbers: Meet the LT” series. I ended up working on the interview with Michael Hanley – GitHub’s Chief Security Officer and SVP of Engineering.
Below is an edit of all different animated bits I created for this project.
In the video Michael discusses his childhood dilemma of whether to become a doctor or an astronaut, and the realization that he grew way too tall for NASA space program. He talks about his struggles with molecular biology and about computer gaming adventures with his brothers. He remembers momentous Pentium boot up parties as well as his own journey as an IT specialist.
Finally, he talks about how his own family is a constant source of inspiration in his work.
