Art direction and design for the graphic novel anthology inspired by the music & lyrics of artist Tori Amos.
Alongside the publication and logo design we created all the marketing material for the release including posters, stickers, bookmarks, temporary tattoos, banner ads and POS collateral. The 500 page graphic novel was designed to an unusual comics format of 12" x 12" to resemble a music album, with key cover art for the book provided by Jason Levesque (aka Stuntkid) and interior and promotional key art by Jock.
The book was launched to great acclaim and success at the 2008 San Diego Comicon by Tori Amos, and received the 2009 Eisner and Harvey Awards for Best Anthology in addition to receiving an Eisner Award nomination for Best Publication Design.
