Festas Populares acts as a platform hub for popular festivities in Portugal.
From big cities to small villages, there’s always a festivity near to visit and have fun.

Most of those are celebrating a mark in their own history/foundations while others go as a religious celebration. People gather around culture, traditions, street vendors, food and music to have a good time.

About the project
This project urged as a solution to find those festivities near you when you want to get away from home and have fun. Since there’s loads of apps and other solutions that you can find events near you, with the overload of different types of events like: exhibitions, cinema, theatre, live music, clubs, among others, Festas Populares is going to act as a hub for local festivities lovers.

About the brand
The identity evolves around a sense of belonging, love/hearbeats, have fun and sharing good experiences.
As a variable motion identity, the identity and logotype is divided in 4 graphic stages where is possible to feel those brand attributes.
With a warm color (#FF5757) as a statement foundation for the brand, Festas Populares motto is to bring local festivities and its audience together to bring a sense of a warm welcome.
About the platform and business
For users (B2C)
Festas Populares works like an airbnb for local festivities, where you can browse those type of events by location and date. With this kind of approach, users will be able to get more curated and tailored experiences for them.
For organizers (B2B)
As Festas Populares is trying to collect events in Portugal for their platform, local festivities organizers can publish their own event by paying a fee to be advertised and shared with the users.
