24 hours off the grid // lofoten islands
as we hopped onto the boat to reach the trail head, we found ourselves heading straight into the clouds. they were raining down into the fjord, leaving us completely soaked. the further we walked, the clearer the sky got, offering a scenery so astonishing - pictures don't really do it justice.
the late midnight sun slowly but surely headed towards the horizon, illuminating the sky, the ocean,
the surrounding mountains and the happy faces.
after a quiet night we woke up to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, besides little puddles not much remembered us about the thick rain clusters from the day before. new clouds slowly touching the high mountains & the sun warming the surroundings. our way back through the white sand and high grass was timed just right - we made it shortly before our boat arrived at the dock.
