TOASTBOT 3000!
This was a super challenging project for me as I'm not really a hard-surface kinda gal!
Using Substance 3D Modeler for modelling has certainly helped push me into modelling things I wouldn't normally attempt I really love the process of modelling in that programme and to think it's still so new and has so much more to come just blows my mind.
Brought it into Maya for a quick polish up (add texture sets + vertex colour etc.) and then into Substance 3D Painter then a quick 'send to' Substance 3D Stager for rendering! Also for some I added a bit of smoke in Photoshop to add a bit of drama! Super easy when you can render in .psd files 😉

I've thought about doing a project like this for a while where I really push myself and now here we are. Even texturing which is usually my comfort zone I was pushed here, my god, who knew BREAD (well, toast) was so difficult. I think realistically I could have spent more time perfecting it but to be fair my main goal here was to practice hard-surface and I feel like I've achieved that - can't wait to do more now!
