Driven by mentorship and leadership initiatives, Dare to be Youth (DTBY) is a charity organization dedicated to supporting young adults, empowering personal growth and self-discovery to create a community of future leaders that inspire change. DTBY reduces the number of youth who need crisis support and intervention to ensure they don’t slip through the cracks. They are given tangible tools to navigate through life’s challenges.
About the Project
The client wanted to refresh their website design to highlight the mentorship and volunteer initiatives that play a vital role in helping young adults develop mental wellness, resiliency, and confidence. The new design and all its marketing materials needed to tell a story, engage with the community and inspire others to join the movement. That included making the website more friendly and inviting to young adults. This was achieved by making use of DTBY’s bright and vibrant brand colours throughout the design. The use of bold, impactful fonts and large friendly imagery helped to draw attention to the messages throughout the site.
