Design & visualization: Kateryna Nepochatova
Location: suburban area of Kyiv, Ukraine
Area: 42 sq.m.
Year: 2022

The name of the project, minified.home, comes from 2 factors:
• first one - the apartment has a mini size, only 42 sq.m.,
• second one - it will be a home for the web developer, who is familiar with the minification principle for frontend scripts. This principle allows to keep the same functionality of code but with a smaller file size - the same is relatable for this apartment, which has a bunch of functional zones within a small space.

A process started with a moodboard of a materials to be used:
After confirmation from client I developed a neutral white space with contrasting black elements and warm wooden accents.
The apartment has a bedroom, a kitchen-living zone, a home office, a bathroom, and a small entrance zone.
The kitchen has a comfortably sized countertop, an embedded dishwasher, and perfect amounts of cabinets for clients cooking devices and dinnerware.
The living area has a TV, a small lightweight couch, storage space, and a dining zone.
A home office has the same size table as a dining one. They can be combined into a bigger table if the client wants to make a dinner party.
The bedroom is separated by a glass divider. For better privacy, an additional curtain can be used.
The bed has a storage space underneath.
The bathroom is equipped with all the needed things, including a washing machine and a toilet for a cat :)
In the entrance zone, we have a compact wardrobe and a big mirror.
The client is happy with proposed solutions and now we are waiting for the victory of Ukraine in this war to start the implementation.
Thank you for watching! Let's colaborate :)
