Logo and corporate identity for a car spare parts store.

About the client
KARBOTRON is a store of spare parts for cars, tuning and additional equipment for pickups. Now the company is working only with the Dodge RAM model, but in the future it plans to expand its range for other pickup models.
Previously, the store worked under a different name: we made a logo for it a few years ago. Now the owner has decided to change the name of the company to his nickname from social networks and thematic forums — "carbotron" — which has already become widely known among pickup truck owners.
Logo
The logo consists of two parts — a font and a sign. The robot in the sign is a metaphor for how the store's team treats their work: it is important for them not to make mistakes, to do everything on time and according to the plan. The robot's "face" consists of elements of a car : the mouth resembles a radiator, the eyes are a windshield, and the ears are mirrors.
The logo has several versions: two vertical and one horizontal, which differ in composition. They are needed so that the KARBOTRON team can correctly position the logo on branded media.
Corporate identity
There are five corporate colors: black, white, two shades of gray and orange, with which accents are placed in the design. The orange color is associated with cars and traffic rules: it is used for temporary markings on the road — such lines have priority over all others.
The proprietary font pair is the accidental font Furore and IBM Plex Mono. Furore resembles in appearance the symbols of the program code that is used to develop robots and automotive software. And IBM Plex Mono is a calm font for the main text, which combines broken shapes with the font from the logo.
The pattern and dynamic element resemble car parts and robot mechanisms. They will be used to customize branded media — for example, merch, letterheads or presentations.
