This brief was set by Oliver Bonas in regards to their collaboration with Fedrigoni paper to create designs for their SS20 Collection. In keeping with the Oliver Bonas aesthetic and appealing to their female 20-40 year old demographic.

I wanted to explore the idea of sustainable inks and their use, in the design industry. These designs are vibrant and bold, whilst in keeping with Oliver Bonas target audience requirements. Using vegetable inks is a more sustainable eco friendly process, and is easier to remove during the recycling process. The quality of our ink is very high and more vibrant than non vegetable sources. Our use of coconut wax  candles, creates for a slower burn and boxes are fully biodegradable, good for you, your home and the environment. ​​​​​​​

The approach to the packaging as well as my logo was to create something simplistic yet effective to allow our beautiful vegetable sourced ink to thrive. It is believed that 80% of customer purchase decisions are made solely on colour. With this in mind why not allow our unique vibrant printing process to shine through. ​​​​​​​Our logo is very feminine leaning, appealing to the Oliver Bonas demographic. 

Our packaging includes a card giving information on the sourcing of our ingredients, our scent and a match strip for lighting your purchase.
