Bird photography is one of the categories of Wildlife photography. It is a style of crafting photographs of different types of birds in their natural environment. This is a difficult art of taking images. Because we cannot control natural habits of wild animals. This is one of the types of photography, in which enormous patience is necessary. 

Birds are animals in the class Aves. In total, there around 10,000 bird species, divided into 252 families. Birds range in size from the tiny bee hummingbird to the huge common ostrich. Most of the time ostriches are larger than human.

The greater flameback also known as greater goldenback, large golden-backed woodpecker or Malherbe's golden-backed woodpecker, is a woodpecker species. It occurs widely in the northern Indian subcontinent, eastwards to southern China, the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, western and central Java and northeast Borneo.
