In this exercise, the goal was to select a festival and develop a useful product solution for festival organizers.
We chose Sundance, a film festival that is being held in Utah once a year.
One of the main concepts of it is light, hence we wanted to put a spotlight on new creators and empower them. We came up with a format of starting the festival at sunset and ending at sunrise. During the festival, participants will watch movies from their rooftops using a special app, and additionally there will be chat rooms to help them communicate and enjoy together. This format was also affected by Covid time, which made us think differently on how to bring people together, in a non-physical way.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
We created an “ask me anything” add-on with an embedded voting control. We wanted to allow participants raise questions to the film directors, actors and screenwriters, and to vote for other questions they like.
We found out that film officials are sometimes not interested to discuss specific topics,
so our feature enables filtering out or manually editing questions.
