Context
Vishnubhai, 37, was my roommate at my weeklong stay in a Mumbai dorm during the early summer of 2022. We shared stories at night, post dinner, which was the only time we could interact.
Due to the irregular nature of his work he could not give time to learning English. A language which, according to him, would give him an advantage in his profession and one for which he had a deep desire to learn but had postponed it indefinitely.
