David Anson Russo's new style "What A Great Life" (WAGL) began as Russo was doodling sitting at tables in Malibu as crowds of people would gather to watch him. The style was infused with a turn of the century euro sensibility and the music of Edith Piaf and Madelaine Peyroux playing as he drew. The style celebrates life, and inspires enjoying every moment we have here with very positive messages. The characters are elegant, well dressed, well mannered, harkening back to a more idyllic romantic time. Eventually Russo would begin to create his art in front of charity audiences, develop a brand of products around his new style (WAGL), and partner w/his long time manager of 25 years David Goldman to form WAGL Entertainment. An animated online greeting card company and many new applications for the WAGL art collection (over 400 images!) are currently in development.
