Spotify featuring Marshmello
Spotify is a music streaming service that allows you to listen to music instantly and save music to multiple playlists. This project, in collaboration with Spotify's Artist of the Year, was created to feature a very popular artist whose name is Marshmello. I had a lot of fun creating this poster! Marshmello has been one of my favorite artists since 2017's Silence collaboration with Khalid. I knew his songs before this time as well, but that is when he was first getting started with his music.
The Concept
My concept for this poster was to design a unique piece utilizing typography, hierarchy, and the use of colors. The colors chosen were introduced to the design to tie together with Marshmello's music style and genre. As soon as the blue and purple colors were added, I knew this was the poster for him; new life had been brought into this poster. As a result of using these colors, they matched perfectly with his style and his branding so well.
