Koogle Rebranding

Koogle Spread


Koogle Spread by Kraft was once a very popular brand of flavored peanut butter spread in the early 70s. Later that decade, however, it was discontinued because of ads and distribution problems. This product became defunct just like so many other brands so far.

The goal for this project is to completely rebrand Koogle peanut butter spread into something new with better planning and campaigning. During the creative brief, it was discussed that the old flavors are outdated and that there needs to be newer flavors introduced.
The Concept


After the initial creative brief, the concept became clear that the brand would be better off moving forward with newer flavors instead of the old ones. Even though we kept a couple of the older flavors around, we renamed most of them to something catchy and addicting with the addition of our newer flavors.

While sketching out ideas for the design, it was best to go with a newer brand style then that of the old brand. There are a lot of things that are so much better looking and visually pleasing in the world today. The old design was definitely outdated, so we needed new designs to bring back our beloved Koogle Spread.
