LABEL DESIGN FOR A CRAFT BEER distillate
The Aranykakas (Golden Cock) is a small business from Transylvania, which offers quality beer products, that are seducing, taking you and making you addicted. Tasting the manufactured beers, knowing and loving them, you get acquainted with rich savours and experiences, which cannot be offered by wholesale beers.
The name of the brewery translates to ‘The Golden Rooster in Tămașu’ named after a small, picturesque village in Transylvania. Their current range consists of 4 beer styles to suit all tastes: an IPA, a lager-type, a wheat beer and a stout, whose label designs were also designed by me and can be viewed in an earlier upload in my portfolio.
Encouraged by their successful beers the producers decided to make an unique beer distillate, collaborate with a local Transylvanian distillery, named Jamy. At that moment the manufacturers asked me to come up with a striking name for the product and I had to design a pretty nice label.
The name creation of the product was inspired me by the the world's first successful motor-operated airplane in 1903, the Wright Flyer, because from consuming this tasty beer distillate you will have an euphoric feeling so then you will fly in a figurative sense.
I discoverd a similarity in the fact that this product was also the result of a co-creation between two entrepreneurs from Szeklerland, as well the Bright brotehrs created together the flying miracle. Invented and flown by Orville and Wilbur Wright, it marked the beginning of the pioneer era of aviation.
