Bóann is the goddess of the river Boyne, an amazing keltic history tells how she become killed by the waters of her husband well and how she become part of the milk way, as a sublimation and metamorphosis with the cosmos.
DRAWDA, is a multi-disciplinary public art programme (a collaborative project between @droichead.arts.centre, and @lovedrogheda B.I.D.S). DRAWDA will be delivered across a number of strands which will draw on Drogheda’s significant rich heritage, mythology and architecture and will explore the stories of some of the leading local mythological figures.
