In the last 100 years we are witnessing rapid changes in our surrounding environment due to the ever changing climate conditions that we ourselves have accelerated. With sea water levels rising noticibly, coastlines often testify these changes claiming man-made structures that were built precariously. This new addition of temporary kiosks at ekies resort wants to bring attention to the issue utilising a fun and ironic approach which results in a series of structures that seem partially submerged into the sand.

The architectural language used is a mix of traditional western architecture related with these kind of elements coupled with the playfull style of beach culture. Inspired by the traditional beach kiosk the structures serve as shop, bar and changing room.
