K-Pop and Mom
This was an advertisement to promote an app called Bridge.

"Bridge is an app that provides children with the tools and knowledge that can help them interact and build stronger social relationships with their parents. The app helps children bridge the generational gap between them and their parents, through interactivity, education and hands-on activities that encourages children to spend more time with their parents."

The storyline:

"I wanted to portray a user who has a hobby of listening to K-Pop music. And one day, his mother tries to find out what he’s doing. She tries to interact and get involved with him, but he flat out rejects her, assuming that she wouldn’t understand it anyway. At the end, introducing how Bridge can help to educate this user to start introducing his hobbies to his parents so that they can have a healthier relationship.
It was a short video putting viewers in the shoes of the main user watching a K-Pop video, which then transitions into a cold exchange between him and his mother who was trying to show some interest.

In the short span of 1 min and 15 seconds, I tried my best to fill the video with unique angles and compositions, hoping to get a hold of the viewer's attention and keep them entertained.

However, with the different shots, it did well in putting the viewer in the perspective of the user, for example, the shot of him watching the video and another shot of the two individuals interacting with each other.
My favorite shot.
