Ukrainian Literature Museum Brand Identity

Today I'm going to present my diploma work from Art Academy in Kyiv. The work was curated by Vitalina Lopukhina, who's support and useful advices I very appreciate and am so grateful for!

Talking about the concept of the brand identity: the cube as a multifaceted figure reflects a multifaceted world of literature. It is a symbol of wisdom and knowledge, a correct and orderly figure that associatively reflects the activities of the museum: the systematisation of information and its presentation to visitors in the correct form. 

The sign is static, closed, restrained and serious, which emphasizes the status and positioning of the museum.

The inspiration for the development was the neoclassical style in which the museum building was built.
The logo of the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine is concise and restrained, but full of deep meaning and is the actual carrier of the overall concept of development. The trade mark has a simple shape that is easy to compose in any format and allows it to be easily read at a minimum scale or from long distances. 

Another graphic element used on each advertising medium is the gradient. Ideologically, it is designed to convey the passage of time, as well as to be that thin but bright ribbon - the point of today, which reached the development of literary art; a symbol of a new era, which is only gaining momentum and rapidly directed to the left, to the edge of the format.​​​​​​​
The font logo was created in its own accidental font: it has a low contrast,  it's serious and restrained in character, but live and plastic at the same timeThe font is easy to read, exactly repeating the typeface used when writing the logo, the character of the letters is calm.
