Client: Creator Club
Year: 2021
Project: Brand Identity, Brand Strategy

About the brand:
Finally! A hotspot for creators.

Creator Club supports creators to live fulfilling lives while doing what they love at a slow but steady pace. Freelancers and creators can sign up with an affordable membership fee, where they get access to exciting perks such as self-development resources, fun accountability challenges, and programs. It is a safe space to grow your career and connect with other creators. The tagline: Your passion is safe here.

The Challenge:
How do you design an online membership platform that does not feel 'corporate'?

Mica, the founder of Creator Club, wanted an approachable and fun brand identity that resonates with its target market of young adult creatives, specifically freelancers. The visual identity has to create a tone of trustworthiness, accountability, and enthusiasm.

The Solution:

I created three logo variations for the brand: a primary logo, a secondary logo, and a submark. The use of a coffee cup in the logo is a common symbol that when creators grab a drink, they mean business.

The completed brand identity aims to attract creatives who are frequently online. Now more than ever, it is important to use visual elements that catch people's shortening attention span. Hence, we opted for a colorful color palette without going overboard. Beige and electric blue dominate the branding, while contrasted with the vibrant purple and neon green. Overall, the branding appears smart, without taking itself too seriously.
