I had the chance to work on a Domestika course last year, it's gonna be out soon so I decided to post about it and also show some other drafts that didn't make it to the course

When I started making this course i started doing rough sketches to check which character would work best

All pen and paper since we didn't want to include the use of a graphic tablet or an ipad pro to make more accessible to more people.

The super talented Domestika team suggested some chunky robot with the same style I have in my collab pieces with the super talented Jetpacks & Rollerskates

Since the last few renders didn't work we tried something more organic with cute character and broken limbs Rayman style 

This one was my favorite since it explains materials textures mirror modifier and certain complex shapes, it would've been perfect from a learning perspective but we ended up switching to something else.

Then I wanted to try something with a more ancient Egyptian style so I made this fun Anubis render

Then we ended up gettting the greenlight for this space monkey which is kinda the combined version of the chunky robot and the other monkey render
