What originally were naive colourings of scanned pencil and ink drawings quickly became a new style. I call these "digital paintings", because the process feels like painting: I use as few layers as possible, simple round brushes, and the colour picker more often than the colour selector - I like to mix the colours in the picture itself, rather than choose new ones from scratch.
