I was invited by Maurício from Torto Filmes to direct the photography for this project by the Haikaiss group. He developed a very interesting script, which metaphorically tells the story of the group using a very different atmosphere.
Using clippings, special effects and a circus, the plot was very complete and deep, as it is a very special song for the members of Haikaiss.

The photography that was the part I worked on, I tried to use a soft light, which would converse well with the lights of the practice. Camera movements and framing speak to the metaphorical context of each scene, for example, in the sea scene where the 3 are in danger, the camera is low, leaving the characters grandiose, and giving the idea that despite the turbulent situation and provocative, they could get through it. In other scenes, such as spinardi not serving himself as a psychologist, there is also a psychological sense in the framing. When he is the doctor, the camera takes him from the bottom up and when he is the patient, the camera takes him from the top down, showing the empowerment and incapacity of each of them within the context.

It was really cool to produce this with Torto, because we've been friends since college and we went to São Paulo to play this project. I thought the end result was really cool and it's also a very memorable project. It was a great adventure.
