Wanted to paint something about how I was feeling during that time when my career was constantly leaking in to my personal growth and hampering my creative process.
I painted a regular looking guy in modern, casual clothes. I wanted that to symbolize how aware I am that I'm not the only one going though the trials of working from home, but a majority of people as well, struggling to make the best out of a pandemic.
Out from his head are a bunch of Deadly Nightshade flowers blooming. One of the deadliest but also one of the most beautiful flowers in the world. How something that should be beautiful can also cause your collapse. The imbalance that I was feeling encapsulated with the overflow of flowers.
