PATAGONIA | Postcards

A few weeks ago I had the exciting opportunity not only to revisit one of the most stunning and enchanting places I know, but also to reconnect with my passion for photography. During those days, I took my old analogue camera everywhere I went, which allowed me to capture some breathtaking landscapes.
At some point during the trip, the idea of making postcards with my very own pictures popped in my head. So during a movie-like afternoon by the lake I sketched the first letters in my notebook. Luckily, those turned out pretty good (you can check them out below!) and so I continued to shoot every bit of nature that caught my eye over the following days.
Back home, I polished the lettering pieces and soon started to try out different color palettes, layout choices and textures. It didn't take long for the overall concept to emerge and so I put my effort to perfect some details. Apart from being worthwhile, the process of combining visual languages that I usually work with separately proved to be a rewarding experience. The final result heightens the nostalgia of a trip I will not forget. I hope you like it too!
