Back in the Spring of 2011, my college professor told us that our senior projects would have to revolve around the idea of "Futuristic Technology" (doesn't yet exist) which sole purpose is to help people.
I decided upon the idea of SMARTBLOCKS: metal computer cubes meant to be art.
Within these small cubes is the computer of the future. SMARTBLOCKS can anticipate actions by continuously collecting data, learning user living preferences and automatically performing those desired tasks. SMARTBLOCKS can do everything from home security, controlling home lighting and thermostats and turning on/off entertainment.
SMARTBLOCKS are able to recognize how many people are within a room and can even be programed to have individualized preferences based off the home users. SMARTBLOCKS can also monitor for any health concerns (stroke, heart attack, seizure and unconsciousness) and call for appropriate help.
