This year I've decided to make my first illustrated calendar and here are some words and pictures about my experience.
The core idea was to embrace the feeling that no matter what is ahead, we can be brave and overcome it. Here we have a big blue tiger which is like the next year — it is obviously grand but we do not know what to expect from it. And we have a girl in a warrior pose, who is trying to be the scariest creature in the room. The tension between them can become a dialogue or it could not — it is up to the future events and your attitude towards them.
There are three versions of the main illustration. One I used as the main cover, one as additional poster and one as a postcard.

For each month I carefully chose an illustration among those I've done during the past two years. My main goal was to find witty association for the month and give a lot of space for writing down plans or special dates.
This was a very special experience for me, because i signed and packed every copy with my own hands (under the careful supervision of my dog, of course) and I'm very happy that everything turned out perfectly.
