《Paliljaw 1874》是一部以1874年恆春牡丹社事件為主題的VR作品，透過VR沈浸式體驗Paliljaw - 恆春半島南排灣族群用生命守護家園的故事。觀眾在VR內，扮演部落的重要成員，透過部落女孩獲知日軍來襲的消息，立即動身參加戰前秘密會議，盼貢獻己力捍衛家園。接著，觀眾與族人據守石門峽谷，共同作戰，抵抗日軍侵略，然而同行的族人不幸墜谷犧牲。最後，觀眾返回石門山谷間的殘破部落，在這裡再度遇見死裡逃生的部落女孩，兩人一起發願重建家園，讓家成為族人內心歸屬所在，延續「守護家園」的使命。

《Paliljaw 1874》is a VR production centered around the 1874 Mudan Incident in Hengchun. Through immersive VR experiences, it narrates the story of Paliljaw, the southern Paiwan tribe on the Hengchun Peninsula, who protected their homeland with their lives.

In the VR setting, viewers take on the role of vital tribe members. They receive information about the imminent arrival of the Japanese military through a tribal girl, leading them to participate in a secret pre-war meeting to contribute their efforts in defending their homeland. Subsequently, viewers and fellow tribespeople defend the Shimen Canyon, resisting the Japanese invasion. Unfortunately, some of the accompanying tribespeople tragically sacrifice themselves by falling into the valley. In the end, viewers return to the devastated tribe in the Shimen Valley. Here, they reunite with the tribal girl who miraculously survived, and together, they pledge to rebuild their homeland, making it a place of belonging for the tribe and continuing the mission of guarding their homeland.

《Paliljaw 1874》is periodically screened at the VR History Recreated on the 4th floor of the Exhibition and Education Building of the National Museum of Taiwan History. Currently, it is available for free experiences, and registration details are announced on-site.
