Acem takeaway tea cup
Inspired by the traditional tea saucer design in Turkey which is widely used in public tea houses, I imagined a paper tea cup that carries the tradition to the takeaway culture.
The pattern on the tea plate is believed to be originated from the modern day Iran and found its way to the plates during the late Ottoman era, in the 19th century. There are variations of the pattern design, but this is the most widely used.
