The book cover was incorporate digital manipulation into the design whilst also showing a glimpse into the story itself. It was found that the themes of this book had some Japanese influences along with astronomical symbolism. This led to the design being inspired by subtle Japanese architecture and patterns.

There were some "eery" notes to the narrative which after some manipulation and experimentation of some pictures I have taken in the past, it led the solution of having a strong contrasting layout. This project did require working with several aspects in Photoshop - in an unusual way. Most of the design and symbolistic of the story, which helps give an insight to the possibilities of the narrative without exposing the whole storyline.
